The journey from Sapa O'Chau main office in Sapa to Ha Long Bay will depart at 5 pm via mini bus. You will transfer to a sleeper bus which departs for Ha Long Bay at 7.45 pm. It reachs Bai Chay bus station at around 4 am, you can stay on the bus until 6 am. It costs USD25 per person per way.
The departure time from Bai Chay bus station to Sapa is 5.30 pm. It arrives in Lao Cai at 4 am and you will transfer to a mini bus. It will reach Sapa at around 5 am.
