Day 1: Sapa - Bắc Hà
LC - SP 38 km
SP - BH 110 km
Our driver will welcome you at Lao Cai train station exit with a placard showing Sapa O’Chau logo and your name. It will be a scenic 38 km drive uphill to Sapa. You will alight at Sapa O’Chau café where you can take a shower, rest and have breakfast (cost of breakfast is not included). We will leave around 9 am to start this 6 days trip around Northeast of Vietnam. During the journey from Sapa to Bac Ha, you will have many opportunities to take pictures of the scenery. When we arrive at Bac Ha, we will have dinner around 6 pm at a local Hmong homestay. Here we will spend a night interacting with the host.
Day 2: Bắc Hà - Xin mần - Hà Giang

After a good night of rest, we will have breakfast around 7 am at a local restaurant. If it is a Sunday, we will get to enjoy a visit to the local market which only opens on Sunday. Bac Ha offers a less busy atmosphere then Sapa so you will fully enjoy the market. If it is not a market day, we will go to a village called Ban Pho located on a mountain cliff where many different minorities live. The main ethnic minority is the Flower Hmong people. It will be a great opportunity for you to interact with different ethnic minorities.
We will leave Bac Ha around 10 am to drive to Xin Man town. Along the way, you will have many opportunities to take pictures of the scenery.
Around 12 pm, we will have lunch at Xin Man before continuing to Ha Giang. During the drive, we will have the chance to see beautiful rice terraces, waterfalls and the Heaven’s Gate as well as various ethnic minorities.
We will spend the night at a Resort Hotel situated 3 km from Ha Giang.
Day 3: Hà Giang - Quản Bạ - Yên Minh

We will have breakfast around 7 am and leave at 9 am for Quan Ba. There we will have an amazing view of the Quan Ba Mountain also known as Fairy Bosom Mountain because of its shape. Here you can take spectacular landscape pictures.
We will have lunch at a local restaurant in Quang Ba. After lunch, we will visit Lung Tam where we will learn about Hmong handicraft. The craftswomen will demonstrate the techniques of hemp weaving and other traditional handicraft.
After this educational segment, we will continue to scenic Yen Minh. We will enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant in Yen Minh and have a good rest at the hotel.
Day 4: Yên Minh - Lũng Cú - Đồng Văn

LC - DV 27 km
We will have breakfast at a local restaurant and leave for Lung Cu around 9am. We will get to visit the local market if it is the day of the week it is open. Alternatively, we can admire the scenery of the Lunarscape and the corn fields.
We will move on to visit the small remote village of the Hoa people. Very few tourists visit this village so you will have a more meaningful interaction with the Hoa people.
Following that, we will visit the Vuong Palace in Dong Van. It was once the capital-house of the Hmong ethnic people under the feudal regime and the palace of the Vuong family who once ruled a vast area of the region.
We will have lunch at a local restaurant and then climb up Lung Cu peak, the northeast point of Vietnam. This flag tower stands at 1,600 m above sea level. We will return to Dong Van to have dinner at a local restaurant and rest for the night at the hotel.
Day 5: Đồng Văn - Mèo Vặc - Ba Bể Lake

MPL - BBL 243 km
We will have breakfast around 7 am and leave for Ba Be Lake at around 8am. We will reach scenic Ma Pi Leng valley after about 20 km.. We will take pictures here before continuing a long journey to Ba Be Lake.
On the way, we will have lunch at a local restaurant and continue our way to Ba Be national park. We will arrive around 5 pm to visit the famous Ba Be Lake.
We will have dinner at a Tay homestay. The Tay people are famous for their excellent cuisine. We will spend the night at this homestay.
Day 6: Ba Bể Lake - Hà Nội
BBL - HN 216 km (5 hours)
We will have breakfast at the homestay and go for a boat ride on Ba Be Lake. We will spend one and a half hour on the boat visiting mysterious caves such as the Puong caves.
We will take the boat back to shore to visit the famous “Fairy Pond”. We will return to the homestay for lunch. There will be a delicious spread of local food. After lunch, we will drive back to Hanoi at around 6 pm. This concludes our 6 days trip in Northeast Vietnam.
